PaaMano Eskrima has a new Eskrima and skills program that was specially developed for 6 year olds to 9 year olds. Our Little Eagles program focuses not only on providing the foundational skills necessary to become successful martial arts practitioners but also on developing proprioception, coordination, self-confidence and helping students meet and exceed important child-developmental milestones. Classes meet Fridays from 5:30pm-6:30pm.
We have combined our 25 plus years of knowledge and experience in the martial arts and in healthy biomechanical development to create the PaaMano Eskrima Little Eagles Program. Through the Little Eagles classes our students develop greater hand/eye coordination, balance/proprioception, body awareness, self-confidence, agility and the basic eskrima skills needed to become successful practitioners of the Filipino Martial Arts.
Our new PaaMano Eskrima (PME) Family Class meets from 5:30pm – 6:30pm every Wednesday and from 6:30PM - 7:30PM every Friday at our Buena Park Annex. PME is a style of Filipino Martial Arts (FMA). The new family class focuses on not only developing proficient FMA skills but also offers an opportunity for family members to learn together. Learning a new skill with your child or grandchild can help forge an even deeper bond and create memories that will last a lifetime. PME Family Class also gives children the rare opportunity to help the important adults in their lives. It is a great joy to ask your child to help you practice the new skills you are learning and then see the pride and sense of importance they feel after helping you. Ages 10 to Adult.
PaaMano Eskima Fencing Classes are about learning to implement the practical application of the live single and double stick(s). The class also develops timing, footwork, and the offensive and defensive skills needed to succeed in the sport of Eskrima. Full armor is required. Class available by audition only.
The PaaMano Eskrima Advanced Program was developed for advanced martial arts practitioners in any style that also have intermediate/advanced eskrima training. These are fast paced classes that incorporate advanced empty hand, knife, single stick, double stick, sweeps, takedowns and ground work. This is the first time PG Roland has agreed to teach these techniques outside of his immediate family.
Do to the pace and the scope of the class all perspective students must submit an application and audition to enter the program. Students must adhere to a strong code of ethics as PG will not teach such advanced and potentially devastating techniques to be used irresponsibly.

Maraming Salamat Po to the all the Filipino Martial Arts masters and teachers and to all those learning the Filipino Martial Arts. They are keeping FMA alive for future generations and honoring the sacrifices and legacy of the of the Filipino Masters that came before.
Thank you to all the Martial Arts Masters we have trained with and learned from of various styles and arts. They have enriched us as people as well as martial artists. Their knowledge has informed and influenced our system and our lives. We are lifelong students, grateful to share what we have learned and committed to learning more.
"I'm not a master. I'm a student-master, meaning that I have the knowledge of a master and the expertise of a master, but I'm still learning. So I'm a student-master. I consider the master as such when they close the casket." Bruce Lee
